May 22^nd

Today is the day!! We arrived at Heathrow airport bright and early for our flight back to JFK. This was our last time together before we separated to catch our connecting flights home. It was a bitter sweet goodbye. We had become a close group and it was hard saying goodbye to the friends that we had experienced so much with over the 26 days.  It was a fantastic experience that we will all cherish forever!! Cheers UK, it’s been a jolly good time!!!

Our final day in the UK!! It’s crazy to think how long we have been traveling together as a group. Today we visited the Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe. The View is the main attraction at the Shard; this is in addition to multiple offices, and high end restaurants that make their home in this building. The View is at the very top of the Shard on the 68^th, 69^th, and 72^nd floors. The views were breath taking; it was amazing to be seeing London from the new perspective.  We ended our visit to the Shard with a salute to our graduating Seniors Chelsea Roy, Tara Kenny, and Cassandra Zerden!! Good luck to you as you make your journey into the real world, you all will be dearly missed Good luck. We ended our day with a lovely group dinner before an early bed time before we hop on our flight back to the United States.
