Yet another beautiful
day in London!!! Today we shopped on Portobello Road and Visited Hampton Court
Palace. Portobello Road has got to be
the most amazing place to shop; you can find anything and everything there!
From Clothing to handmade jewelry, to produce, to tea cup vendors, to trinket
vendors, the possibilities are endless!! Hampton Court Palace was lovely! It
was really cool to see the place where Henry VIII spent much of his time. It
was cool being able put together the puzzle of what made up this King’s personality.
There was literally a room for everything and the biggest rooms were the places
you could tell he cared about the most; judging from what we saw that his food,
his wine, and his religion, were the most important aspects in Henry VIII’s
life. We also got to see the Chocolate Kitchens of King George I. The grounds
of Hampton Court were as beautiful as the inside! We got to see the garden and
even got to make our way through the oldest maze, which we turned into a
friendly competition where the first three people out of the maze won a prize
of sweets!!
