May 2nd Belfast Northern Ireland

May 2nd: Today was our day trip to BELFAST in Northern Ireland!!! We took our first official train ride into the new country, which was an experience. We had to learn to get used to keep moving forward on this trip. We spent the day on a bus tour around the city seeing some incredible sites. It was interesting to be able to make comparisons between Ireland and Northern Ireland and learn a little bit about the ongoing struggle between the many political parties in Ireland. Especially those dealing directly with the subject of British Loyalty. We got to see the Belfast City Hall as well as may other sites including the many Murals (or Political posters that were painted on to the building walls) that emphasized key political beliefs of Northern Ireland.
